CHARACTER WORKSHOP
6 Wednesday Nights 7-10pm  - APRIL 18TH THROUGH MAY 23RD
Taught by Jayne Entwistle
In depth character creation and exploration.  This class will use improv to find the characters that work best on you! Useful  for both improv and written work. Written exercises are optional as this is basically an improv class. Learn to create memorable truth based characters that are unique to your own point of view and style and have fun in the process.  Final class will be an “in – class” show for invited friends and family. Participation in show not mandatory.

Jayne Entwistle, co-artistic director of Improvatorium, teaches you the approaches she’s used to create some of our company’s most winning characters and landed her roles on Desperate Housewives and Big Love.

Song Improv Brush Up Class -
1 Saturday Morning 10 to 2pm – April 28th

It’s been a while since we offered our student favorite “Song & Dance” course.  So this is your chance to either get a one time brush up class in song improv, or take your first stab at this increasingly necessary improv skill. Fun will be had. Noise will be made.

Taught by Patrick and Jayne, this one time free class is clearly a marketing scheme designed to entice you to study with us. It’s a shameless approach used by successful drug dealers throughout history.   No hard sales – just a chance for new potential students to see what we do. Maybe you’ll dig it? Maybe you won’t.  *Open only to non Improvatorium students.
